At Somers Partnership we take charitable giving seriously, dedicating time every year to raise funds for The Cure Parkinsons Trust. We helped set up two annual charity luncheons for the Wealth Management industry that provide support for the life-changing research of the trust. These occasions are crucial for supporting this outstanding charity and they have also become one of the most important networking events for Wealth Management professionals, with over 1,000 key decision members attending across both events.
The Grouse and Grape Luncheon
Our annual Grouse and Grape Luncheon celebrates the best of the grouse season with a fantastic lunch. The event sees the city’s leading Wealth Management professionals gather for an informal and enjoyable afternoon of networking. This is a key date in the industry’s social calendar, giving professionals a chance to connect in a beautiful setting, whilst raising much needed funds for The Cure Parkinson’s Trust.
The Gulls’ Egg Luncheon
The Gulls’ Egg Luncheon offers the same level of unrivalled networking opportunities, whilst revelling in the Gulls’ Egg season. This fleeting delicacy, available for just three to four weeks of the year, is placed centre stage in this event. Not only can attendees enjoy this historic foodstuff, the event also offers a unique networking opportunity, attracting leading professionals in the Wealth Management industry. This event is not to be missed for anyone working in Wealth Management, Family Offices and Private Banking, whist raising money for an extremely worthwhile cause.
The Cure Parkinsons Trust
Both events provide crucial contributions to the Cure Parkinsons Trust, a vital charity driving research for the treatment of Parkinsons disease. All proceeds go towards the Trust which aims to stop, slow or reverse the progression of Parkinsons disease. The Gull’s Egg and Grouse and Grape luncheons offer substantial support for the trust, enabling people to come together for an entertaining event and a meaningful cause.
Committed to giving back
We are incredibly proud of our charitable efforts here at the Somers Partnership and the entire team enjoys getting involved. Mark Somers was invested with the Duke of Kent’s medal in 2014 for his services to charity.
The Cure Parkinsons Trust is a charity that is particularly close to our hearts and we endeavour to continue our support for the charity long into the future.
